Biostatistics within academia and research institutes
Every academic project is unique. There is rarely a study so similar to another that the same design and analysis methods can be used. This leads to high demands on researchers who do not always have all the skills needed in their own department.
We have extensive experience in providing statistical support in academic projects and to authorities, and also of methodological research in biostatistics. Several of our statisticians have a background in research. We have specific knowledge in cancer research and in infectious disease epidemiology, and methods ranging from registry studies and lab studies to questionnaires and e-health. We are familiar with "confounders" and missing values, ethics applications and questions from "Reviewers". Please contact us early in the study to discuss the design, or to get tips on how you can assure the quality of data collection. We can assist you in both large and small tasks.
